I lived in Sardinia for two years and was a contributing editor for a magazine that was distributed with the International Herald Tribune. While I was there, I also pitched, researched, and wrote a 300-page guidebook highlighting Sardinia's history, culture, and hidden attractions.
More than 100 of my photographs appear in the book. It's currently available in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada.
My story, "Cefalo," won the Gold Prize in the annual Solas Awards and was included in The Best Travel Writing book series.
I researched and wrote an updated guidebook to Sardinia focusing on Alghero and the northern half of the island. The book is available in paperback and also for Kindle.
